Press Release

November 30, 2025 - Scottsdale, Arizona - They say it's never too late to pursue a dream. For Tamicia Currie, what began as a dream has quickly become reality. The valley designer remembers vividly how she created her first dress -- a design that she later patented and now plans to release in Spring 2026.  “I remember having a vision in my mind of how I wanted it to look,” said Currie.

What started as a test to see if she could design clothing like her grandfather who earned his living during the 50's as a tailor by trade in the South, Currie turned her passion into a more concerted effort to move the design into retail spaces across the world. "After realizing its beauty while equally having an eye for fashion and pairing colors, this design is elegant and versatile in a way that I have never seen", she said.

Currie pioneered her way into the business world and began sourcing fabrics and planning for a larger production. “We often tell people that it's never too late, but the truth is you can reach an expiration date on almost anything,” Currie explained. Having this thought in mind, the serial entrepreneur used her business skills to launch what she envisions being a highly successful endeavor.

“If you are looking for something sophisticated, classy and totally different, you'll love my Roaring With Ropes Collection. I knew this piece would stand out in a crowd, garner compliments from everyone and it's a beautiful thing to see something that you create come to life,” she exclaimed.

Currie plans to reveal her patent-pending dress on November 8th at The Floyd Mayweather Championship Gala and will attend the event wearing the design. “I’m excited to join historic female designers like Ann Lowe, Ruby Bailey, and present-known designers like Kimora Lee Simmons. It really means a lot to me,” Currie concluded.
